The Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research financially supports the costs through allocation of annual funds. The law 394/77 gives the Italian University Sports Center (CUSI and CUS L’Aquila) the task of creating and implementing programmes for sports activities. CUS L’Aquila is therefore the only organization legally recognized to act accordingly.
